1. About Alaa

Alaa (آلاء) is a private journal for recording the Graces (نِعَم) in your life — photos, voice notes, videos, and text. It is developed and operated by Khalid Hadadi ("Kai"), an independent developer. This app is built by one person — there is no company behind it.

This policy applies to all users of the Alaa mobile application and is written in compliance with:

• Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), Royal Decree No. M/19 (2021), amended by M/148 (2023)
• The EU / UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
• The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA)
• Apple App Store privacy requirements

2. Information We Collect

Alaa is offline-first. Almost all of your data — Graces, photos, voice memos, videos, folders, settings — stays on your device. Below is a full breakdown of the small amount of information that does leave your device, and why.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

Your name and email come from Apple's Sign in with Apple flow. Apple may hand us a private-relay email that hides your real address. You can use the relay or hide your email entirely — Alaa will still work. Graces are stored locally on your device and, only if you turn on iCloud Sync, are mirrored to your personal iCloud account (see Section 6).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Alaa does not run its own analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only diagnostic information we ever see is whatever Apple chooses to share with us through its standard crash-reporting system — and only if you have "Share with App Developers" turned on in iOS Settings. We do not see your identity in this data.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

• Your location
• Your browsing or search history
• Your health data
• Your contacts, calendar, or reminders (outside of what Alaa itself stores)
• Advertising identifiers — Alaa contains no ads and no advertising SDKs
• Anything sensitive — religious beliefs, biometric data, financial records, etc.
• Payment details — Alaa has no in-app purchases at this time. If that changes, Apple will handle all payments and we will never see your card or billing information

3. Apple Privacy Disclosure

Apple requires all developers to disclose what data leaves your device. Nothing below is used to track you across other apps or websites, and we do not use advertising identifiers.

Everything else — Graces, folders, gratitude items, special days, reminders, app settings — stays on your device. If you enable iCloud Sync, that data is stored in your own iCloud account (see Section 6).

4. Third-Party Services

Alaa relies only on Apple services. We do not use any external analytics, advertising, attribution, email, or tracking services.

About speech recognition: when you record a voice memo, Alaa can show your words as text in real time. To do this, iOS may send the audio to Apple for transcription unless your device supports on-device recognition. Apple does not share that audio with us. This feature is optional — voice memos record and save normally even if you decline speech recognition.

These Apple services are subject to Apple's own privacy policy. We are not responsible for their practices beyond what is described here.

5. Where Your Data Goes

The only data that leaves your device is the data described above, and it goes only to Apple. Apple operates a global infrastructure and may process data outside your country. When data crosses borders, it does so under Apple's own privacy commitments and standard contractual clauses where required.

6. Optional Integrations

All integrations below are entirely optional. Alaa works fully without any of them. You can enable or disable them at any time from within the app.

• iCloud Sync — Graces, folders, and settings are mirrored across your own devices through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. This data goes to your iCloud — not our servers. We never see it.
• Speech Recognition — Apple transcribes your voice memo in real time so you can see the words as you speak. The audio is processed by Apple. We never receive or store it.
• Local Notifications — When you set a reminder (daily gratitude, special day), iOS schedules a local notification on your device. No notification data is sent to us or to any server.
• Photo / Camera / Microphone access — Granted only when you choose to log a photo, video, or voice memo. The captured media stays on your device (and your iCloud, if enabled).

7. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

• Your data is protected on your device by iOS's standard application sandbox and disk encryption
• iCloud Sync uses Apple's end-to-end encryption where supported by your account
• Sign in with Apple does not expose a password — Apple generates an anonymous credential for the app
• No third-party servers handle Graces or account

No system is completely secure. In the event of a data breach that could affect you, we will notify the relevant authority within 72 hours and contact you directly if required.

9. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

All Users

Saudi Arabia Users

All rights above apply. Additionally:

• You may file a complaint with SDAIA within 90 days of becoming aware of an issue
• You may seek compensation for harm caused by a violation of privacy law
• We will respond to any data request within 30 days (up to 60 days for complex cases)

EU / UK Users

All rights above apply. Additionally:

• Right to data portability (the in-app full backup already provides this)
• Right to restrict processing while disputes are investigated
• Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

California Users

• Right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used
• Right to delete your personal information
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
• We do not sell your personal information

10. Consent & Your Choices

You can withdraw consent or change your preferences at any time by signing out in Settings, revoking Sign in with Apple from iOS Settings → Apple ID, or emailing us at khalid.support@gmail.com. Providing your name and email through Sign in with Apple is the minimum required to create an account — and Apple lets you hide both behind its private relay.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. We make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of any information provided through the Service.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALAA AND ITS DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Children's Privacy

Alaa is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us at khalid.support@gmail.com and we will remove it promptly.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will notify you of any material changes through the app. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

آلاء تطبيق لتدوين النِّعَم في حياتك — صور، ومذكرات صوتية، ومقاطع فيديو، ونصوص. طوّره وأشرف عليه خالد حدادي ("كاي")، مطوّر مستقل. هذا التطبيق من صنع شخص واحد — لا توجد شركة خلفه.

تنطبق هذه السياسة على جميع مستخدمي تطبيق آلاء للجوال، وهي مكتوبة امتثالاً لـ:

• نظام حماية البيانات الشخصية (PDPL) في المملكة العربية السعودية، المرسوم الملكي رقم م/١٩ (٢٠٢١)، المعدَّل بم/١٤٨ (٢٠٢٣)

٢. المعلومات التي نجمعها

آلاء تطبيق يعمل بدون الإنترنت أولاً. تقريباً كل بياناتك — نِعَم الله سبحانه وتعالى، صورك، مذكراتك الصوتية، مقاطعك، مجلداتك، وإعداداتك — تبقى على جهازك. فيما يلي تفصيل كامل للقدر الصغير من المعلومات التي تغادر جهازك، ولماذا.

٢.١ المعلومات التي تقدّمها مباشرةً

اسمك وبريدك يأتيان عبر تسجيل الدخول من Apple. قد تمنحنا Apple بريداً مُرحَّلاً يخفي عنوانك الحقيقي. يمكنك استخدام الترحيل الخاص أو إخفاء البريد كلياً — وسيبقى التطبيق يعمل. نِعَم الله سبحانه وتعالى تُخزَّن محلياً على جهازك، ولا تُنسَخ إلى iCloud إلا إذا فعّلت "مزامنة iCloud" بنفسك (انظر القسم ٦).

٢.٢ المعلومات المجمَّعة تلقائياً

لا يستخدم آلاء أي تحليلات أو أدوات إعلانية أو تتبّع من طرف ثالث. المعلومات التشخيصية الوحيدة التي قد نراها هي ما تختار Apple مشاركته معنا عبر نظام تقارير الأعطال القياسي — وفقط إذا فعّلت "المشاركة مع المطوّرين" في إعدادات iOS. ولا نرى هويتك في هذه البيانات.

٢.٣ المعلومات التي لا نجمعها

• موقعك الجغرافي
• سجل تصفّحك أو بحثك
• بياناتك الصحية
• جهات الاتصال أو التقويم أو التذكيرات (خارج ما يخزّنه آلاء بنفسه)
• معرّفات الإعلانات — التطبيق لا يحتوي على إعلانات أو SDKs إعلانية
• أي بيانات حساسة — المعتقدات الدينية، البيانات البيومترية، السجلات المالية، إلخ.
• تفاصيل الدفع — لا تحتوي آلاء حالياً على مشتريات داخل التطبيق. وإن أُضيفت لاحقاً، فستتولى Apple جميع المدفوعات ولن نرى بطاقتك أو بياناتك الفاتورية أبداً

٣. إفصاح Apple للخصوصية

تطلب Apple من جميع المطوّرين الإفصاح عمّا يغادر جهازك. لا يُستخدم أيٌّ مما يلي لتتبّعك عبر التطبيقات أو المواقع الأخرى، ولا نستخدم معرّفات الإعلانات.

كل شيء آخر — نِعَم الله سبحانه وتعالى، مجلداتك، عناصر الامتنان، الأيام المميّزة، التذكيرات، إعدادات التطبيق — يبقى على جهازك. إذا فعّلت مزامنة iCloud، تُحفظ هذه البيانات في حساب iCloud الخاص بك (انظر القسم ٦).

٤. خدمات الطرف الثالث

يعتمد آلاء على خدمات Apple فقط. لا نستخدم أي تحليلات أو إعلانات أو تتبّع أو خدمات بريد إلكتروني خارجية.

عن التعرّف على الكلام: عند تسجيل مذكرة صوتية، يمكن لآلاء عرض كلماتك كنصّ مباشرةً. ولفعل ذلك، قد يرسل iOS الصوت إلى Apple للتفريغ إن لم يدعم جهازك التعرّف على الكلام محلياً. لا تشاركنا Apple ذلك الصوت. هذه الميزة اختيارية — والمذكرات تُسجَّل وتُحفَظ بشكل طبيعي حتى لو رفضت التعرّف على الكلام.

تخضع خدمات Apple لـسياسة خصوصية Apple الخاصة بها. لسنا مسؤولين عن ممارساتها بما يتجاوز ما هو موضّح هنا.

٥. أين تذهب بياناتك

البيانات الوحيدة التي تغادر جهازك هي ما وُصف أعلاه، وتذهب إلى Apple فقط. تعمل Apple على بنية تحتية عالمية وقد تعالج البيانات خارج بلدك. عند انتقال البيانات عبر الحدود، يتم ذلك تحت التزامات Apple الخاصة بالخصوصية والشروط التعاقدية القياسية عند الاقتضاء.

٦. التكاملات الاختيارية

جميع التكاملات التالية اختيارية تماماً. يعمل آلاء بشكل كامل بدونها. يمكنك تفعيلها أو إيقافها في أي وقت من داخل التطبيق.

• مزامنة iCloud — تُنسخ نِعَم الله سبحانه وتعالى ومجلداتك وإعداداتك إلى أجهزتك الأخرى عبر حسابك الشخصي على iCloud باستخدام CloudKit من Apple. تذهب هذه البيانات إلى iCloud الخاص بك — لا إلى خوادمنا. لا نراها أبداً.
• التعرّف على الكلام — تقوم Apple بتفريغ مذكرتك الصوتية إلى نصّ مباشرة. تتم معالجة الصوت بواسطة Apple. نحن لا نتلقاه ولا نحتفظ به.
• الإشعارات المحلية — عند ضبط تذكير (نعمة يومية، يوم مميّز)، يجدول iOS إشعاراً محلياً على جهازك. لا تُرسَل أي بيانات إشعار إلينا أو إلى أي خادم.
• الوصول إلى الصور / الكاميرا / الميكروفون — يُمنح فقط عند اختيارك تدوين صورة أو فيديو أو مذكرة صوتية. تبقى الوسائط الملتقطة على جهازك (وعلى iCloud الخاص بك إن فعّلت المزامنة).

٧. مدة الاحتفاظ بالبيانات

نحتفظ ببياناتك فقط للمدة الضرورية للغرض الذي جُمعت من أجله.

٨. الأمان

نطبّق تدابير تقنية وتنظيمية مناسبة لحماية معلوماتك:

• بياناتك محميّة على جهازك بصندوق رمل iOS القياسي وتشفير القرص
• مزامنة iCloud تستخدم تشفير Apple من طرف إلى طرف حيثما يدعم حسابك ذلك
• تسجيل الدخول من Apple لا يكشف عن أي كلمة مرور — تنشئ Apple اعتماداً مجهول الهوية للتطبيق
• لا تتعامل أي خوادم خارجية مع نِعَم الله سبحانه وتعالى أو حسابك

لا يوجد نظام آمن بالكامل. في حال حدوث اختراق للبيانات قد يؤثر عليك، سنُخطر الجهة المختصة خلال ٧٢ ساعة ونتصل بك مباشرةً إذا اقتضى الأمر.

٩. حقوقك

لديك الحقوق التالية فيما يتعلق ببياناتك الشخصية:

جميع المستخدمين

مستخدمو المملكة العربية السعودية

تنطبق جميع الحقوق أعلاه. إضافةً إلى ذلك:

• يحق لك تقديم شكوى إلى هيئة البيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا) خلال ٩٠ يوماً من علمك بالمشكلة
• يحق لك طلب التعويض عن الضرر الناجم عن انتهاك قوانين الخصوصية
• سنردّ على أي طلب بيانات خلال ٣٠ يوماً (حتى ٦٠ يوماً للحالات المعقّدة)

مستخدمو الاتحاد الأوروبي والمملكة المتحدة

تنطبق جميع الحقوق أعلاه. إضافةً إلى ذلك:

• الحق في نقل البيانات (يوفّره النسخ الاحتياطي الكامل داخل التطبيق فعلياً)
• الحق في تقييد المعالجة أثناء التحقيق في النزاعات
• الحق في الاعتراض على المعالجة القائمة على المصالح المشروعة
• الحق في تقديم شكوى إلى هيئتك الرقابية المحلية

مستخدمو كاليفورنيا

• الحق في معرفة المعلومات الشخصية التي نجمعها وكيفية استخدامها
• الحق في حذف معلوماتك الشخصية
• الحق في عدم التمييز عند ممارسة حقوق الخصوصية
• لا نبيع معلوماتك الشخصية

١٠. الموافقة وخياراتك

يمكنك سحب موافقتك أو تغيير تفضيلاتك في أي وقت من خلال تسجيل الخروج في الإعدادات، أو إلغاء "تسجيل الدخول من Apple" من إعدادات iOS ← Apple ID، أو بمراسلتنا على khalid.support@gmail.com. تقديم اسمك وبريدك عبر "تسجيل الدخول من Apple" هو الحد الأدنى المطلوب لإنشاء حساب — ويتيح لك Apple إخفاء كليهما خلف خدمة الترحيل الخاص.

١١. إخلاء المسؤولية عن الضمانات

تُقدَّم الخدمة "كما هي" و"بحسب توافرها" دون أي ضمانات صريحة أو ضمنية، بما في ذلك على سبيل المثال لا الحصر ضمانات قابلية التسويق والملاءمة لغرض معيّن وعدم الانتهاك.

لا نضمن أن الخدمة ستكون متاحة بلا انقطاع أو خالية من الأخطاء أو آمنة تماماً، ولا نقدّم أي ضمانات حول دقة أو اكتمال أي معلومات مقدَّمة من خلال الخدمة.

١٢. تحديد المسؤولية

إلى أقصى حدٍّ يسمح به القانون المعمول به، لن يكون آلاء أو مطوّره مسؤولاً عن أي أضرار غير مباشرة أو عرضية أو خاصة أو تبعية، بما في ذلك فقدان البيانات، الناجمة عن استخدامك للخدمة.

بعض الولايات القضائية لا تسمح باستثناء ضمانات معيّنة أو تحديد المسؤولية، لذا قد لا ينطبق بعض ما سبق على وضعك.

١٣. خصوصية الأطفال

آلاء مخصص للمستخدمين من عمر ١٣ سنةً فأكثر. لا نجمع عن قصد معلومات شخصية من الأطفال دون ١٣ سنة. إن كنت تعتقد أن طفلاً قدّم معلومات شخصية من خلال التطبيق، يرجى التواصل معنا على khalid.support@gmail.com وسنحذفها فوراً.

١٤. التغييرات على هذه السياسة

قد نحدّث سياسة الخصوصية هذه من وقت لآخر. عند القيام بذلك، سنحدّث تاريخ "آخر تحديث" في أعلى هذه الصفحة. سنخطرك بأي تغييرات جوهرية من خلال التطبيق. استمرارك في استخدام الخدمة بعد نشر التغييرات يُعدّ موافقةً منك على السياسة المحدَّثة.
